We are seeking experienced Custom Picture Framers to join our talented team of creatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for framing, strong technical skills, and a proven track record in producing professional, high-quality custom frames. Excellent communication and math skills is an absolute must. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for color, style, and design to assist clients in selecting appropriate framing options.

In this position, you will design and construct frames to protect and display items like photographs, original watercolors, paintings on canvas, posters, certificates, 3-D objects like medals and sports memorabilia and need we say more! Each day will truly present a unique challenge.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
● Accurately measure, cut, and assemble custom frames, mats, glass, and backing.
● Handle artwork, photographs, and memorabilia with care to ensure proper mounting and presentation.
● Assist clients with frame and mat selections, offering expert design advice to complement their pieces.
● Use framing tools and machinery, including mat cutters, glass cutters, pneumatic guns, hanging hardware etc.
● Perform conservation framing techniques.
● Maintain a clean and organized workplace while adhering to safety protocols.
● Ensure timely completion of framing projects to meet deadlines.
● Collaborate with other team members and provide customer service when needed.
● Operation of computer Point of Sale (POS) register and custom framing software.
● Other duties as assigned within the scope of job.

Work Qualifications:
● Flexibility in working weekends
● Excellent fractional math skills
● Able to accurately measure and read a measuring tape
● Good verbal and written communication skills
● Artistic eye for color, balance, and style
● Attention to detail
● Strong customer-service skills
● Basic computer skills
● Excellent attendance and punctuality
● Able to handle a fast-paced work environment
● Prior experience as a picture framer is a must

Physical Requirements:
● Able to lift up to 50 pounds effortlessly
● Able to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, reach for prolonged periods of time
● Able to work with hands for prolonged periods of time
● Repetitive Movements
● Visual Acuity (Close vision, color distinguish ability)

Education:
● High school or equivalent
