Rock the Ridge is a brand new show, bringing together young talent from around Phoenix for a night of music on one stage to benefit the UBU Project. The mission of the UBU Project is the prevention of bullying, addiction and suicide through the arts. UBU uses music and songwriting to teach hope, resilience and self-compassion to kids at risk.
Sydney is a 15 year old, sophomore at AAEC PV high school . She is a singer/songwriter who can play piano and guitar. She has been writing songs since the age of 9 years old.
She is a member of a worship band and takes guitar lessons at The Rock. She works part-time at Paradise Juice Bar and volunteers in free time.
Tia has always loved to sing, and began taking voice lessons when she was only four years old. She wrote her first original song/ lyrics on the piano at age six. She started playing her ukulele at age eight and wrote six more original compositions that year.
Pajama Pants is a local Arizona artist. They have been performing all their lives but it didn’t officially start taking it seriously until 2014.
David has been working in the world of the performing arts, entertainment, and education his entire adult life. He was born into a family of musicians, performers, educators, and arts administrators.
2AM Patrol started when a bunch of rocker kids met in band class at the Desert Ridge Music Academy back in 2017, and they’ve been going ever since. They released their first single “Down” recently, it can be heard on Spotify and iTunes. With performances at The Nile and other local venues, 2AM Patrol has no plans to slow down now.
Singer/songwriter Izzy Mahoubi picked up a guitar and wrote her first song at the age of eleven. It was not long after that she began performing her original music around her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona and Nashville, Tennessee.

Is an Alternative Pop-Rock band from Phoenix, AZ. Started in high school by Zack Bruge (Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals) and Brad Stockton (Lead Guitar) after they met in guitar class. They decided to start a band since they had a common B in their names…they needed a singer, however the one they wanted didn’t have a B in his name until he said his middle name was Brandon… welcome to the band Karl Nagy (Lead Vocals/Bass).
The Bellwethers consistently perform edgy, high-energy, blues-fueled rock that light up stages across the Southwest. Gigging everywhere from dive bars to marquee venues, the band boasts a collective dynamic of talented musicians originating from the East and West coasts.
